View Full Version : Broadband Suppliers?
I'm currently looking for a broadband supplier in London after moving home and wondered if you guys had any recommendations?
I used to be with Bulldog, they used to be fine and on paper they look good, but I've heard so many people complaining since C&W took over I'm a bit wary. Anyone else worth looking at?
Telewest/Blueyonder - been with them for years and never had a problem. Only drawback is their upload speed is limited to 256, otherwise they're great

If your using Broadband for business (and i guess you are) then BT is best as they take downtime more seriously than others
I cannot get anything faster than 1mb here from BT but get up to 8mb with a company called Trilogy however is was down 2 hours today 1 yestarday and for two days last weekend they, and i imagine all others will "cop a deaf un" if it goes down and you start shouting at them for lost time in business.. So BT it is as soon as they get more than 2mb here
We have 4 separate 2mb BT business broadband accounts and a Vodaphone business account. Wouldn’t consider using anything else for serious business use.

I've been with Nildram for years with little problems. Generous download limit if you need it.
They also do "bonding" meaning you can have up to 4 accounts bonded (you'll need 4 phone lines) into one connection giving you faster upload/download speed. After your first account, additional account fees are only a tenner each.
Been with Blueyonder broadband since it started, never had a problem with it. My areas now been upgraded to 10mb down/384k up for £35 per month.
If your in their area, I'd go for it.
