FUCK OFF!

This countryis getting worse by the day, some wanker on there says:

"If you're lighting up with one hand and have a fag in the other hand then obviously you've not got any hands on the wheel"

You put the fag in your mouth and light it with a lighter or cigarette lighter with one hand. Silly bastard.

A recent report by academics at Brunel University warned that car crashes could rise as the ban on smoking in public places leads more people to take a drag at the wheel.

It said smokers drive 23 per cent faster and are more inconsistent than non-smokers.

When the laws were being introduced on the hand held phone issues when driving, there was quite a large feature on Sky News about this and other distractions whilst driving.

Almost everybody stated that mothers with babies and young children in a car are potentially more of a distraction than anything else.

Changing a CD or radio station is at least as much of a distraction as using a phone or lamping up a ciggie.

I also think that giving a nice bit of totty a good fingering whilst driving up the M1 can also be a bit of a distraction (to driving) but it was 2am and there wasn’t much traffic about, and it was bloody good fun :)

And imagine doing 90mph (i mean 70mph) on the motorway when suddenly you see DVTs car. Dont even want to think about that one!

I think there's also an urban myth about the guy who had his knob bitten off in a car - Serves him right for getting blown while driving and then crashing!

"It seems to be a perfectly sensible measure because the whole business of lighting up involves taking your hands off the wheel, so you're not driving with due care and attention."

Taking one fucking hand off the wheel, the same as you do when changing gear, or indicating. What an absolute load of bollocks from a bunch of no-brain cunts.

Thing on the radio this afternoon, they've been pulling over work vans, and fining those without a no smoking sign displayed £200.

They are just taking the piss now, and we just fucking sit and let them, might be about time for a few riots, or fucking blocking off London, I can't believe many other European countries would be so meek and mild about the shit we have to put up with.

Why the fuck would the car be full of smoke? Aircon - windows - or does your car(s) not have either of those?

Imagine the French authorities trying it.

Fuck in'ell the whole country would grind to a holt.

I wonder how many builders told them them fuck off when stopped.

And how are they going to collect the fines of the travellers, if they stopped them, probably didn't stop travellers as it could be deemed as racially motivated.
Lovely place the UK.

for now. it's an EU project to kill off smoking in public paces, some countries are just a tad faster when it comes to implementing regulations.

Incidently, anyone read "How To Label A Goat" ?

It's a book about recent (ish) rules & regs having been introduced into the UK.

(Info on the book from the publishers site)

In this new book, Ross Clark exposes some of the most petty and bizarre rules and regulations which are blighting the lives of Britons today. From the 45 pages of instructions on how to correctly label a goat (or sheep) to the impact that being a deep-sea diver might have on your tax return.

Among his other discoveries are:

- That there are 279 different tax forms for businesses alone, asking a total of 6,614 questions.

- The notes explaining the Treasury's 'simplified' pensions' regime ran to 1,369 pages.

- The law allows you to kill or give away a bullfinch - but not to sell or barter it.

- A woman from Kilbride was given an ASBO forbidding her from answering the door in her underwear.

- A council spent 5,000 planting yew trees to screen a new children's play area. It then dug them up again after health and safety experts advised children could fall ill if they gobbled 'several handfuls' of leaves.

All completely true and all contained, along with hundreds of others, in this eye-opening new book.

Red tape and more red tape...

- One Police force discovered that it had a total of 1,150 different forms on which to report crimes.

- There are 1,300 pages of road traffic law - and that does not even include the law preventing petrol stations selling hot food after 11pm unless they apply for a licence.

- Employers must not hold important meetings on 31 October - it might discriminate against pagans, who, of course, celebrate the festival of Samhain on that day.

- A motorist in Waltham Forest, East London, was fined for parking on double yellow lines that were not even there when he parked his car. The lorry painting the lines had drawn around the stationary vehicle.

- The following things have been reported to be banned in at least one school: making daisy chains (risk of picking up germs); playing hopscotch (risk of injury); making anything out of egg boxes (fear of salmonella); putting hands up (makes pupils who don't have the answers feel victimised); and throwing paper aeroplanes (might cause eye injuries)...

I'm off, gonna smoke in my car on the way to the pub, where I'll smoke in the public bar, then drive home pissed (and smoking, with windows shut & air-con off), hopefully maiming a few non-smoking lefties on the way, before giving the TV licence people an anonymous tip that I've no licence, just so I get the pleasure of telling them to fuck right off when they pay me a visit.

Hope your day goes swimmingly as well :)
