View Full Version : England v Russia
On Wednesday night England play Russia at Wembley.
I think we'll kick their butts so I'm gonna stick my neck out & predict another high scoring game with England winning 3-1 or 4-1 :noway2:

Lets hope England loose then at least i will not have to put up with the chavs/morons having vulgar plastic flags on there cars and pointless flags on there houses, if England fail to get through.
I dread world cup and so on, when the media make you think your suposed fo follow this pointless gay game.
Not for me.
oh boo hoo what a miserable fucker you are !!! whats so wrong in standing up and supporting the county - after all its not often we can

No doubt McSpanner will put Hargreeves straight back in and insist on changing a winning team that actually played well for the first time under his reign. (Admittedly against somewhat poor opposition)

sorry, me bad
i failed to realuise the whole country was playing. i thought it was just a few overpaid morons who were kicking a ball around for an an hour or so and a bunch of idiets would get excited that they are seeing a bunch of lads in shorts (yes and of course they or not secretly bi or gay).
i have no problems if you consider football to be important in your life, but for me its just a game. but i guess for some people who have very little in there lives i guess football fills a voide. i personaly would consider killing myself if my life became so worthless that football mattered.
its a bit like the sad jerks who idelise the royl family.
anyway i will leave the rest of the thread to those who find football some importance to there lives.
personaly if i paid £90 per game to watch football just so some bloke could get paid 6 million a year to have a jolly good time i would hope the men in white coats would quickly take me down to the funny farm.
I can't stand the fucking game give me rugby any day or the week but I don't see why people should be allowed to wave the flag in support of the team - even if that means driving around with flags on their cars
sorry, me bad, I forgot to check this weeks tv listings, thanks for the reminder.
I failed to see the last cracking game. As I understand it was a team of highly entertaining individuals who were kicking the ball around with confidence and skill for an hour or so, shame I missed it as I get very excited at seeing a bunch of lads in shorts (yes I am secretly gay).

what did you change your mind in less than an hour ??

I like Rugby but I love football I was in a pub watching the Match on Saturday and the football fans were a lot better behaved and more respectfull to others in the pub than the Rugby hooligans.
On Friday night when the France V Argentina Rugby match was on the Rugby fans were nasty. cheering on a country we have been at war, in living, with, against our own European neighbours was strange but even worse the abuse aimed at the French when there was a French barmaid and a few French fans in, was worse than any racist chants you ever hear at football games...
Its a myth that Rugby fans are not hooligans. True, they never make much trouble at the matches but have you ever been in a Richmond pub the night of England games.. its a battlefield
what did you change your mind in less than an hour ??
no I didn't change my mind - read my postings my comments where on people supporting their county rather than for once kicking the shit out of each other thats all :P

i re-read them twice and still dont see where you mentioned anyone kicking the shit out of each other...
Flag waving and supporting were the two main points
:P :P
OK my point "its nice to see someone waving a flag"
End off
:P :P :P
When was the last time put two decent performances together back to back?
and you can take that as Football, Rugby or even Cricket. I can see us drawing the game, and if he goes with the same team (which I doubt he will) we'll get overun in midfield and stifled.

That's a fair point badbee, however, I've a very good feeling for this game against the Ruskies, we're on a roll, the boys are fired up & all fighting for their places right now, "Wright-Philips" is on fire (Where the fuck does Hansen get off on giving man of the match to Heskey?) & everyone seems very motivated for once, even *if* he screws around with selection (Which I hope he doesn't) anyone comming in who didn't play on Saturday will know they've got to pull their weight.
I'm getting very excited about this game !
:cheer: Come on England :cheer:

Why in the fuck would they have Johnson as better odds to score than Heskey when Heskey is 99% sure to be starting and the bald diver isn't?

No idea, it's only marginal (Half a point) it might just be a book balancing thing.
John Terry @ 14/1 looks good value to me :)

ROFL !! LOL "Bald Diver" so very true.
I've always been a big England fan but I really don't know if i want them to win or not. If they started playing decent football again I'd be 100% behind them but they would need a new manager and a lot of the players that are picked on reputation would seriously need to be dropped.
I think England will win 2 - 1 at Wembley, the away matches will be their downfall in my opinion.

Hargreaves and Lampard are out so we might have a chance.
John Terry @ 14/1 looks good value to me :)
Micah Richards at 25 - 1 looks even better value :)
I'm offering 2,500,000 - 1 on our own DVT - anyone fancy a punt?

Oh yeah, 2-1 either way. Let's not forget Israel are a piss poor side.

ONE thread will do !!!!
I'm just back from the Supermarket, the Grolsch is in the fridge, the cheesey nibbles are safely in the cupboard & match day is with us as we creep slowly towards the 8pm kick off.
Remember, this is the most important game England has played since, well, the last most important game we played :)

Oh aye! Such a great result, we even took the points from them over here ;) So it made the victory even sweeter :P
England played excellent! Lets hope that they stick with the same team now, I thought Garth Barry was excellent in the center
