We have had two places up for sale that we got the tenants out of back in the summer and haven’t even had a viewing on for about two months and then we at long fucking last find a house that actually we want to move into ourselves and we end up being out-bid on a 30 day sealed agreement when we were not expecting it by a retired barrister!

Must be fucking cursed or something!

No, it was just not meant to be. For whatever reason you were not meant to have that house. Maybe in 6 months it will sink and you will be in a better house that you like 10 times more than the sinking one :)

Yes, would be perfect but having been there before we really don't have the time anymore and all of the endless little problems.

Well it turned out that the barrister guy had a slight financial embarrassment and was also in a chain so after some negotiating with the builder yesterday evening and again earlier this morning the deposit has been paid and the house is ours. :)

Geezer is right, everything happens for a reason. Although looks like a turn up for the books :)

Definitely. :)

One of the main reasons that we wanted the place apart from the amazing house itself and the amount of land it sits in was because it has a large detached 2 bedroom self contained annex with 2 large studios which will be great as a separate office/studio building as well as stabling which we wanted too.
