I'm looking for a mailing list provider that is adult friendly.
I've seen a lot of amateur sites using Your Mailing List Provider (http://www.ymlp.com/) so went to sign up for it but found this in their TOS:
The User may not use YourMailingListProvider to:
c. send e-mail messages that contain or link to pornographic or sexually explicit content.

Anyone use YMP? If so, how strictly do they enforce this? I mean, would adding some teaser (say topless or nude) shots be ok?

Or anyone know of a more adult tolerant version?

DVTimes should be able to sort you out with all your bulk mailing requirements :ninja:

Could you not use a custom script to capture email address/ip addys etc and do the mailing yourself?

I could, but not on the server I want to use it on. The site is on a free host that doesn't allow it.
Ah, wait though I could put it in an iframe from my server....duh

We use BigHip (http://www.bighip.com/) and have gone over to this from our own mailing programs of many years as it just gets far better results. Running a mailing list program of your own from an adult host is pretty pointless now.

Because if you are on an adult host the chances are that your list will be classified as spam and hit every possible filter out there. The only *good* adult hosts with a clean record now prevent you from running mailing list programs on their servers. BigHip is white listed even with Hotmail and AOL so the bang for your buck when you send out newsletters (we send out bi-weekly newsletters for Lady-Sonia.com) is really incomparable.

It looks good and your comments regarding newsletters from adult hosts ending up in the spam box have swayed me into using them.

Yes, they are fully adult ok. We are a bit long in the tooth and make far too many sales with our newsletters every week for us to fanny about with the cloak and dagger stuff. :)

You will have no problems with them at all. :)
