hey guys,

i'm wondering when and how often you recieve cheques from ccbill, being in the uk? i hear it's weekly for US webmasters but some companies have a different system for international webmasters.

cheers :coffee:

Yeh they pay out weekly. We get a weekly wire rather than a cheque.

I just get mine sent every 4 weeks .... I grudge paying £7 per cheque to the bank ... LOL

Its cheaper to pay a few in at a time, as you will (or should) only pay 1 fee on all the checks.

My bank (RBS) charge £7 per cheque ... hence the reason I emailed ccbill a few months back and asked them to roll over the weekly amounts and only send 1 every every 4 weeks.

Why? I didn't know they were interested, unless you are a limited company. I use a personal account with citibank, no fees at all, (in fact they even pay me interest). I didn't intend telling the tax man about the type of account just how much I put through it.

sites (businesslink.gov.uk et al) and other self employed people have told me there is no problem in using a personal account? In fact when i opened the account i told my account manager i was a self employed web designer and would be paying in cheques from my clients (and advertisers, ;) ).

i am just me not an LTD.. should be fine.

Heh OK I stand corrected. I thought you meant you were just paying into a personal account without declaring.
