Hi, I've got a problem with AutoRank and it's driving me fucking schizo.

When a new site signs up I'm receiving the auto generated mail informing me of a new sign up but when I go to the admin panel there's no new site there waiting to be approved/rejected.
:wtf:

It's been happened on and off for a week or two and just can't work out what the problem is.

So, anyone else ever experienced this or know what it could be?

If I can't solve this problem I may have to install a new version but if I do this will I be able to import all the info from the old version I have now and would all existing webmasters then have to fuck about changing their links??

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Never seen that problem before ... have you posted on the tech support forum in the owners lounge? The're very helpful and will respond usually within 24 hours.

If your are upgrading from v4 to v5 you can import all your old data but if you have customised templates they will have to be re-created as v5 cannot use v4 templates.

Thanks for the reply BigD. The version I have is ancient - Version 2.1.1 yes, I should have kept on top of that I know.

It was installed years ago for me by a guy who used to handle all my script work who I now can't get hold of and I don't have the password to get into the owners lounge.

Just a thought ..... you havent unticked the box in the admin control panel to not review new sign ups?

Thanks for taking the time to help me out mate.

No I hadn't unticked that box and the new additions hadn't been automatically added, but, now I have unticked that box. Maybe this will be a lateral way of working round the problem temporarily.

Even if that works (thanks), I really need to re-purchase a new, up to date version. I'm not too worried about importing templates. As long as I can import the members list and info I'm happy. It's my fault so don't mind the extra work, as long as the signees to the toplist don't experience any inconvenience.
