Password sites are as old as the internet itself. And if worked right by seeding them with fakes their a good source of traffic/joins.

i'm never quite sure how anyone with a PW protected site can be ripped off badly by PW trading. a script comparing the IP's an account logs in from should be able to figure the traded PWs out easily, especially if they log in from different IPs at the same time.
