Am Ithe only one that finds the plots of the films confusing?
Last time one of the local kids (a 6 year old) tried to explain them to me, but she got all huffy when I told her I had not read any of the books. Apparently the little madam had.
Anyway, I fancy watching the new film, but I suspect I will find it confusing.

isnt it film 5 or 6 of 7? Anything would be confusing picking it up that far in. why not just read the books, there great.
I've never read a Harry Potter Book and Never seen a Harry Potter film..... and TBH I dont want to..........
The films have to leave so much out to fit into a reasonable watching time that it's really a must to read the books first and just enjoy the films as bringing the stories and characters to life, rather than just watching the films for the stories.
So much back story and character development is omitted, and so much of the original story condensed into each film I can see how they could be confusing.
I think they expect most to have read the books, and frankly the books should be read.

Ive only seen one of the films, havnt read any of the books. I only watched one of the films cos my son wanted to watch it one tea time on tv. Tobe honest i saw a lot of holes in it, also there was another book i read as a child which was similar to the harry potter film so i can see why people claim she has copied a lot of her stuff. Cant believe shes a billionaire from writting a few books and having them made into films, esp when she copied half the shit from someone else!

My 9 year old is a HP fanatic & can't wait for the film & last book...he could be one of those kids on Junior Mastermind! He's always got his nose in a book anyway.
Haven't read any of the books but I've had to see the films as he's got the DVDs & they seem quite fun.
