i have a few promoting my sites.
how do i go about getting more?

there is a plus side for an affiliate though. get the linkage to the join page and build your own tour.

Exactly.
DVT, it is A Good Idea to have a clue what your site converts at. Then you can try and improve that.
The way a ratio is written is like this:
1:10,000
That means you get one sale for every 10,000 people that visit your site.
Which is probably optimistic.
You can get this info from within the CCBill admin.

Whilst on the subject of ratios I guess there's the issue of what's being counted & therefore gaining some sort of usefull information.
I guess what I'm saying is that some stats only count a "Hit" if it gets as far as the sign up page but not for pages prior.
We promote something that does exactly this, we get a ratio of 1:171 however it's a bit worse than that because there's a lot more (Surfers) that piss off long before they reach the join page thereby not giving us a completely accurate picture.
That said it does tell us how good the join page is I suppose which I understand 1:171 to be reasonable/good :)

Thats really odd, it seems to be refreshing properly for the views.
As for how to get more affiliates, you need to give them good promotional tools, good content.. both updated regularly. Websites that convert very well and in my experience good webmaster "client" service is always good.

2 - From the single zip file that I grabbed, I wouldn't be able to use them anywhere. I'm all for putting a URL Stamp on all free content, but IMHO the stamp you've used is way to big and spoils what are generally speaking, good pics!

I may put them in a passwords bit once i have uploaded the files.
Correction: I was indeed refering to overall hits & subsequent conversion rate NOT a conversion rate based on join page as previously mentioned. The rate of 1:171 is overall conversion / hit rate (Cams) :)

I hate to say this, but DV's sites have converted better than some far bigger UK programs with my uk blog traffic. Not great at 1:1500 for June, but a load of CCBIll sites did far worse last month...
I await to see if DV reveals his overall sales ratio! :reading:

For what it's worth I've "unbanned" the member that racked up these page views ... fuck knows what he was up to, but reasonably sure he wasn't up to anything malicious. Still an odd thing to do though :geezer:
