We batted it out for the draw. We got the Ashes back. Anyone else celebrating this evening?! I haven't moved from the TV for 5 days - even watching the bad light and rain was fascinating. Probably the most exciting draw there's ever been too...
Will be able to catch up on some work now!!!

Good luck to em and well done too .. havnt the foggiest about the game, but at least we can win it ... so we're better at cricket than football, tennis, golf ... fuck it, almost any other sport .. well done again

that's nearly as bad as the US declaring the superbowl winner "world" champions. :lmao2:

Yeah for me the last day of the Test series in England is effectively the last day of summer. It's just been brilliant. I'll never forget when I was staying with friends when the Edgbaston match was on, and we were supposed to be going out for the afternoon, and I wouldn't move, then they won by the two runs and I was jumping all over their living room! That, and today will be my abiding memories of this summer! (I can even say I was there for the Old Trafford Test, even though I couldn't get in!)

Sad thing is on Wesdnesday night on ebay you could buy a pair of tickets for today at the oval for £80 but I was to tired to wait for the end of bidding. I had my chance and blew it to be there today. Great summer to remember though> I doubt I'll forget Warne, probably tell my grandkids about him in 50 years or so
