what's to wonder? having all your eggs in one basket is the wrong strategy, no matter what biz you are in.
after snatching PayPal, they need additional services to off to the PP user, to keep the money flow in the house. what's more obvious than a service that's clearly on the way up.
what's nicer than having your customers spend money through PP on ebay and the one receiving the payment invests that money in his Skype account. you have both users' data, their CC details, their shopping habits and a means to conact them easily.

i'm afraid the option to top up your SkypeOut with moneybookers will be removed though, bugger.
