Vickie Powell NAME CHANGE

After much ado and arguing the toss with various individuals on here.

I am FINALLY gonna change the domain name of my site, (this will be done at re-launch) it has been pointed out by Rebel on another thread that any affiliates that sign-up may get caught up in any legal wranglings, I certainly do not want that it, is one thing for me to have to defend my position but to take others with me is a definite no no.

I obviously want as many as you guys to sign-up to the affiliate programme as possible and if this going to inhibit you in any way then IT NEEDS changing.

I apologise unreservedly to any member of this forum that I have had discussions with over this matter in trying to defend my position (its a woman thing):spank:

As we have registered VPP Group I would like to use something similar beginning with P my initial thoughts are :

Vickie Powell's Playpals but we are open to input and suggestion.

Before anybody suggests it VickiePowellthestubborncow.com is available but is not an option.

I would prefer constructive ideas not a topic full of "Told ya So" if you can contain yourselves

If you do get suggestions or have suggestions of your own make sure you register the domain first before going public with your choice … or you might find that some cheeky git reads your post and registers the domain before you and then wants to sell you it at an inflated price

I'd try to keep the name as short as possible & the spelling as simple as possible.

Totally - If you market and brand a domain name, you will get people typing in that name to their browsers - A long name means many typos - ALL of the typo traffic WILL be nicked from you by tuned in webmasters who will buy up all the possible typo variations (assuming your site becomes well known) - The chances are all this typo traffic will end up going to ppc.

Keep is short, sweet and simple.

Plus I would go with a different disine firm altergether. I looked at there site and itr seemed rather poor and rather expensive.

We have employed a new designer, (Blunt) he is full time and on the books, the site is being completely re-worked at the minute and should be online this week barring any hiccups. IMHO it looks stunning exactly what I wanted it to be from the get go.

Registering the new domain in a mo. which is considerably shorter you'll all be glad to hear.
