So, are we thinking Harriet Harman's election as deputy leader of Labour will have any impact on this business in the UK?
She's known as a feminist, but of the anti-porn variety. In the past she's been a rent-a-quote whenever the issue of girls on the front of lads mags has come up and she's also a supporter of the proposed ban on extreme porn. Her comments on this latter issue have shown that she thinks the ban should be broader than the consultation exercise indicated should be the case.
However, Brown is making her Chairman of the party, so she's out of the Justice Ministry which is presumably where she could do the most damage. It doesn't look like he's going to have a Deputy PM either, which might of perhaps been another position where she could cause problems.
