View Full Version : next b&b webmaster do
We are putting together the next b&b webmaster do and are looking for your input on dates.
It will be bigger and better than ever, with a daytime thingie, a meal thingie and a pub thingie, all paid for by some nice sponsor.
Basically three dates are springing to mind.
September - right after the Amsterdam bash, that will give people the chance who are flying there from many miles away to pop over the pond. The downside I guess is that it might be overkill for some UK people.
December - A christmas bash and do a christmas bash every year.
Late January/ early febuary - same as last year

Christmas bash sounds good..
September when the other meet on isn't great for me anyway, dont know about anyone else, if I'm not flying out via london and coming back in it's an extra flight, couple days to my journey and even more expense considering I'm shelling out to get to Dam, tickets for the even, accomodation, etc etc. It'd be too much at one time.
Christmas is good cause us girlies can dress up in xmas costumes lol...Ok just joking but it'd be good for xmas cheer - a 'works night out' kinda thing.
Yeah Xmas might be an idea ;)

Christmas is a pain as there is always so much other shit to do :alc:
and we are away
good enough reason for having then i suppose

So from what date over Xmas do you never go out for a drink and a meal then cos there is so much to do?
I totally agree with your last part though
After WMA I think is an error. Anyone that goes there will a) be knackered and hungover and b) be 'networked out'
Christmas suits me as I hate Christmas, but I predict it will result in many people canceling at the last moment.
So it looks like same as this year is the best bet. In my humble etc.

I'd like September, Christmas and January are too far away :)
Although technically could have a seperate xmas party meet up if we all chipped in.

I certainly don't have that problem.
Fuck me you really must be busy if you can't make one day, you fully booked already then?

Can't wait that long to see me again?
Just to throw my opinion into the mix, I say yes to September.
Only reason being, I may well not still be here in the UK by Xmas.
But thats just me, and my :twocents:

Christmas sounds good, or February time too really. Oh bugger it, September is good for us too!! :cheer:
Provided we are still allowed since we dont live in the UK :noway2:
There's a cracking little Bistro not far from me, they do a marvelous Beef Medalion with a Horseradish Moose, devine ! Only problem is it's a little punchy on the price, hmmm, I'll have a re-think :)
September, after Amsterdam, everyone will be pooped!
have it sometime in early December (or perhaps late November). It gets hectic for most people later in December, so have it early.

I've never been to one and it'll be nice to meet everyone and put faces to names.
September sounds good as I'll probably won't have a pot to piss in by December because of Christmas.

Next to Iceland, Jersey is the most tolerant place on Earth ! It would be great to have everyone here - you may even get to see outside the airport before you are all deported :noway2:
