We were talking on MSN and spoke about recent posts and would like to know everytime ugly is mentioned in a sentence its with fat too.
Yeah Elisha and I are big - we know it, doesn't bother us. But what does kina get on our nerves is the whole image thing. Considering the business we all work in is it not a bit screwy to say she's fat AND ugly. Im sorry to break it to some of you (cough simon cough) that not all fat girls are ugly.
There is that very stunning Irish blonde women who is a rounded size 16 and has such a pretty face. There are loads of 'far birds in white stilettos' who are good looking but as soon as some of you lot hear fat you think ohps ugly!
I ain't bitching to anyone in particular just after reading through some of the threads lately we just came to the realisation that before - some of the girls shown on here were big and beautiful but are now fat and ugly.
I could care less of what you think of me - I've got thick skin that way (no pun intended ;)) But sometimes it just annoys us fat birds is all :catfight:
Considering the business we all work in is it not a bit screwy to say she's fat AND ugly.

You and elisha are not fat i concider fat to be bigger than you two. I used to be fat and you kinda get used to peoples comments, in this industry you need to brush it off more cos it is about image. Bigger people are just as bad tho, they wouldnt hesitate to say to a skinny person god aint you skinny? but if they said that to them god aint you fat theyd get upset, whats the difference?
Everyone is too fat or too skinny these days, i think everyone should just be who they are.

There is a big difference between fat, skinny and ugly. Unes of course your of the mind that fat girls are ugly because their fat even if they have a pretty face which sounds absurd.
I don't get bothered if people call me fat, I know I am. What sometimes gets to me is when people assume fat people are lazy and ugly. I watched - Fuck it I'm fat the other week on Bravo or something and this fat woman went into a beauty salon.
She asked all the staff to draw a slob. EVERY single one of them drew their slob as fat. She did the same for ugly people, every one of them as fat.
I'm not on some big huge movement to free up body image bullshit and what not but lately this board has turned into a 'cull the fat people' brigade in some posts and it's rather odd because not everyone of the blokes here is Bradd Pitt. Don't get me wrong, you're all so very close ;)

You're right. I used to get upset by nasty comments I got, but now I ignore them all. People were always sending nasty emails about my eye because I have a lazy eye and sometimes it shows in the photos and I got emails saying I was cross eyed etc etc.
I did get really upset about it, but its only a slight defect and I cant help it and obviously some people like me otherwise they wouldnt join my site.

My sister is a size 8 so I know exactly what you mean. The smallest I've ever been is a 12 and the biggest must have been a 22 if I was honest at the time. I'm a 16/18 at the moment and although I've gained a little I know what to do to get it back off again. I don't eat badly, I just sit on my ass all day working lol. I'm actually the same weight now as I was when I was 12 years old! Scary really.
It takes years to really understand that we are who we are and we only get one shot at it. If that's the only bit of advice anyone ever takes from me, it is an important bit :) :)

I could be wrong, but I can honestly say I havn't noticed that at all. Yes this forum is harsher than most, but also the people posting are more profesional and resilient than most.
Maybe only one thread springs to mind. That was the only tease selling pictures of the plumper girl in stockings. Simon was thought of as harsh, but in my opinion correct at the time. they were selling a non nude chubby girl who wouldnt get her kit off. She was content a product they were selling, he commented on that product.

Talking of being offended I was just talking about this to my missus. We are watching a documentary about Chubby Brown and I am saying I find nothing offensive. I can not think of one thing that a comedian could say that I would find offensive, if its funny its funny.

I think you are lovely. I think you are tough and bright for someone so young. Peoples real value is in who they are not what they look like - seriously. But when it comes to what looks good in pics or on screen, inner beauty does not shine through. Usually from other women I've noticed. Women's mags and the like are the worst. Not that I've read any, but from the taglines on the front of the ones my ex-missus gets, 'lose 2 stone in 2 days' 'the bikini diet' '12 ways to look thinner' and so on.
Any bloke, or for that matter woman, who lets something that someone else says affect them and their mentality/outlook/self-feeling is a cunt in my book.
