We've just discovered that CCBill have suspended our account with no warning because they say they can't find the contract we signed with them in 2003. Without having a contract on file, they won't process for us.
What a bunch of c*nts! The account has been fine for years - they've never asked for the contract to be re-sent, never said there's a problem with anything. Then today they just turned us off without even telling us. We had to e-mail them to find out why.
Grrrrrrrrrr. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I can't believe the arrogance of these big companies.

One thing I've learned in this biz is you need to take a lot of deep breaths and keep calm. Am intrigued like JT - what happened to resolve everything?!

God they nearly switched us off the other day when I was trying to get them to approve a new subaccount. They found a broken link in the members area & threatened to freeze our entire account and withhold all our money for 6 months if the problem wasn't fixed within 24 hours. I was spitting fire down the phone approximately 2 seconds after I got the email, but what if I'd been away for the weekend or something?
I'd have been joining Geezer & his baseball bat for this London do, that's what.

Just keep calm. Honestly. Someone steals your domain, kills your family, wipes out the population of western Europe? Keep calm. It will all work out...

Fucking hell thats harsh. The double standards are amazing. I was given a site to review the other day that had ccbill billing. It had no trial just straight to $24.995 billing. It was a nice design site but all the members area had was 9 sets of Paul Markims bargain basement content. Just 9 fucking sets for a members area that must have been approved by CCBill

Thats scarey!
Jt..
We know that using those 9 sets is a rip off but do the surfers. So long as the content on any site is legal then a processor will ok it, regardless of the amount.
Davey.. You may have received a standard email. I think these get sent out if a customer complains to CCBill. I had one of those once. I looked at the site and it was ok. I called CCBill their guy looked at it and apologised.. No biig deal

Actually they wont. Ive done sites for people with much more content than that and CCBill turned them down untill there was more content on there.
When I did this one for Gawdy http://www.hardcorematureandyoung.com/ they originally turned it down because not enough content and there was 10 times as much and it was all exclusive unlike the site I was talking about.
Just seems to be who you get at CCBill
JT
I think that if you have a new pay site to add to a portfolio.. Call them first before submitting.. I do that and get the name of who I'm talking to and go from there, or it will be luck of the draw.. :(
