Ok guys anyone had any luck setting up one in the UK? We have them in USA but would really like them home based?

Yes... he set us up with the banks, but there all working away from the adult market, we have also set-up solo/switch with www.myvirtualcard.com which should help, but we would love to have a merchant account over here.

A mate of mine who runs a non nude site got a merchant account without any problems - My understanding is that any nudity will ensure you will not get a merchant account in the uk -

Hi Andy,

The people who should have called you monday should be adding Switch / Solo by the end of this month.

One of your issues (feedback I got from a UK bank) is not your product is the content you have on some sites. What you should consider doing is creating some sites which you can present to the bank that do not show 'naked images'

We should go for lunch and discuss this in more detail, there is normally a lot one can do to help their own application process. I had a chance meeting yestarday with the CEO from a major UK bank and they are going to contact with a list of accounts they work with and what they don't, lets just say things sounded promising.
