Well guys, I have my resignation letter written to hand to my boss on Tuesday!!

Im in Ireland now until Monday night, then into work on Tues to tell them that I am fucking off!!

Then after I have worked my 4 weeks notice I am moving here for good!! (Unless I have a row with my boss and dont work my notice - what can she do?? Sack me?!!)

I will then be a full time webmaster for a bit until I get a (part time) job over here!

I just ICQ'd you lol...

I'm pleased to hear things are working out well and that you and Mike got everything sorted that needed to be ;) And that it didn't take the 6-12 months you thought it would!!!

Shame you'll be so far away though infact, it's prolly quicker for me to get to ireland tham birmingham so nevermind LOL....

Seems quite a few on the board are moving this year hehe

Try to do enough to piss them off without sacking you and get them to let you go before your 4 weeks is up and then they have to pay you anyway. ;)

I would love them to put me on gardening leave so I can still get paid!!

I know they are going to try to get me to do loads of shit before I go, but Im just going to go in and do as little as possible and work as few hours as possible! (currently I get in at 8am and leave after 5pm -not anymore!!)

What if you told them a little white lie and that you were going to work for a rival company.

Where I worked before that got you your very own security guard for 30 mins who would watch as you gathered your belongings and escorted you to the gate :)

Any chance of a Blow Job before you move in with this new bloke?

I love happy endings. Good luck - and as JT says, give the webmastery a chance before doing something daft like working for someone else again :noway2:

Good luck with your move and future life, Rachel. Tell the boss where to go, eh, you've been waiting long enough.

I'm sure you'll do well with the webmastery. It can be a lonely biz stuck behind a computer all day with no company, so its not for everyone. Still, I'd stick with it, better than working for someone else.

Hope we'll see you back in the UK from time to time, I'm sure you will.

Handing in notice for a job you really hate is one of the best things ever!

Well, over this weekend we have been talking about the move. I get paid on 25th May (its my birthday on 27th if any of you want to buy me something?! )
So I am handing my notice in on Tues and working until 25th when I get paid, then not going back in after the bank holiday! :P

Oh happy days!

Sounds like a brilliant plan! Good luck, not that you need it. It's about time you got a break. :)

PS Love the new pic (and the whole Damian's Sex Toy bit)
