I converted a load at $1.99 last wk actual rate $2.02 :o/
you might get about $2 at the bank today

it just doesn't feel right giving over $2 for a pound

As the interest rate has just gone up again, and we now have the highest rates pretty much anywhere, the pound looks attractive globally - so its likely to head back past 2:1 pretty rapidly.
