As a long suffering cricket fan, The boys are looking good.

Remember the times of the early 90's and The typical English collapse? Seems like thats been put to bed. The Aussies are shaken.

The squad is bulletproof :)

Cmon England!!

Tomorrow could well be a cracking day .... meant to be going to a mates house and getting leathered while watching the aussies follow on ....

.. will probably lose the day to rain tho knowing our luck :ninja:

Come on lads. I well remember the situation those years ago - I thought "tables turned time" as the fifth wicket fell today - barring rain, time to enjoy a well prepared dish of cold revenge...

Fuck!
I was listening to it while working and last over the doorbell rang - Came back and switched off knowing I had missed the last over - Till I saw this thread I still thought the Aussies were 4 down!

Only rain or somebody doing a Botham can save the Aussies now -
To England :gold:

The new coaching and youth system they put in place a while back is paying off.

we need to take 5 wickets, as yesterday, before close of play today to win this one but I fear mcgrath, tait, lee & warney taking the series to a draw at the brit oval :(

It was Rodney Marsh, who's about to give up the job to move back to Oz.

it's TROY COOLEY, he's from tasmania and is england's bowling coach, the chap responsible for jones'/hoggy's reverse swing as opposed to freddie's and harmi's bounce-em-out tactics.

Rodney Marsh is/was part of the upper echelons of the ECB, he is/was also an English team selector.

Jesus Christ, I'm writing this from hospital in my oxygen tent... My family were very worried as I skulked around, unable to view the screen, turning to drink and cigarettes and even walking the dog to relieve the tension...

This must be the most exciting series for a very long time, and England deserve to hold out for a draw or get an exultant win at the Oval.

But God, I won't survive another match like this one... :gold:

Must be a condition repeated all over England - can England Cricket Fever costs be claimed as tax expenses?!

What the f*ck !!
How come the top order didn't do the job?? Leaving it to the lower order is for Aussies !!

With Ponting and Katich losing the plot and foul mouthing all in site when they were dismissed, you know something is very wrong in the Aussie team. Blaming everything and everyone but themselves.

The last 3 games have been some of the closest test matches I have seen. All three games could have gone either way right up to the end. Just nice to England winning these close games and see the Aussies swearing to kingdom come.

It was pleasing to read that one of the chants at at Trent Bridge was directed towards the Aussies asking "Are you Scotland in disguise"

good innit:)

I have noticed we must have alot of cricket fans here. When the cricket is on the forum is dead. I dont do any work either. I drink all day too. So in a way I'll be glad when its all over
