I think I'm getting old cos I actually said to my missus the other day how I it when it's dark and cold. You put the fire on and it's all cosy, although afer 6 weeks of the kids at home it does make you realise they will be going out less :)

I had my heating on today - only because I had to dry some washing and can't figure out how the bloody tumble drier works tho ... lol.

Yes, we did have, I was stuck in traffic on the m4 with the kids in the back on my way to devon doing 0 mph for hours :mad: , yes , we did have some hot weather !!! (still got the drivers arm to prove it too )

I get the feeling we will be in for a mild winter and a good september, when I was younger we used to get snow in december these days it snows in April!

Pretty much LOL but then in June / July we have it light from 3am till 12:30am the next morning :)

Only problem is I cant stop working cos I dont think its bedtime lol - and the winter I just want to sleep :D

I think I suffer from SAD - having said that, I do like the cosiness of winter nights - just hate the end of summer (assuming we've had one!)

When summer arrives we blink and it's gone, but I have to tell you this was one brutal summer......I love the heat since we are stuck in so much snow during the winter but this year was the first time I complained....had to sleep in my living room for 2 months just to get some relief....

If you feel the need for more heat you can always come join us in Florida for the last month and a half of hurricane season ; )
