UK Webmasters what will you do about US affiliates and 2257? Will you be giving US webmasters or infact any countries webmasters docs if they want to stay 2257 compliant for your content and banners?
I know theres lots of you here with programs. So dont make you call your names one by one. What will you do?
scenario 1. Mr US webmaster is promoting your site with banners and/or content. He needs the docs otherwise he will have to drop your program. What will your reply be?

I would of course sort out sanitized docs for US webmasters, but as my only paysite is completely private I don't need to worry about that and the rest of my sites are all text based anyway.
time for a :kebab:
I have been thinking about this and was wondering about possibly "donating" a domain for use. That way we are the registered owners based over here and its maybe a way of not infringeing data protection act regs. Im sure there are other things to consider but at the moment I havent thought about it in great detail as initially we will be using ourselves as the traffic sources and affiliates may come later.

Its almost easier to think from a new affiliate programs point of view. Im wondering about bigger programs that allready have 100's of affiliates who may be sending them the enail this week asking for the docs for all the sites and galleries they have built
Dont make me call the others of you out here. I call you on ICQ if need be :drink:
I guess you will ignore their requests? :drink:

I would think that the big problem, is going to be the fact that (unless I am wrong) the models ID's are not going to be valid under this USA law, as they will be non usa.
The big problem will be for models who want to work in the USA as its going to be harder for them.
I would suspect that the ones hit hardest will be those who make Adult DVD's to sell in the USA. As these may have to be removed from the shops and websites.

what Im trying to get at that no sponsor is answering is this. You have a CCBill affiliate program right?
So look at the scenario, you have a US webmaster who makes you 250 sales a month, to carry on promoting you he needs the models I.D's including un altered docs, which will include addresses etc. Do you give them to him?
