Have you ever won anything?

Deal or No Deal is coming on in a mo. & as I'm at my PC I'm going to enter their competition free on their website. I don't bother often 'cos it's a bit of a pain in the arse to fill the entry form out multiple times, but I've got through into the 'pool' a few times but never won a bean!

I entered Quizmania a few times free over the internet too (when it was on, of course), but not a sausage.

Has anyone you know ever won anything on any gameshows?

I won a computer on Capital Radio and another time I won back stage passes for The Beautiful South as well as their complete back catalogue...which was nice :)

i won a bottel of champaine from a mobile phone magazine.

it was second prize. first prize was a laptop and mobile phone.


you had to say why you deserved the prize.

i said i diserve it as i broke my back and now in a wheel chair when i worked for the fire brigade and rescused some children from a house fire.

i was shocked i did not win first prize.

i won one of those electronic pets a few years ago.

the electronic shop in town was giving 5 away.

you had to fill in your name on a bit of paper. i sused the kids were filling loads in, so i did. i told the kids they were cheating and that if they did any more i would report them. when they went i filed loads in.

i won the 5th draw. saved me bying my cousin a present.

I once got 4 numbers in the lottery which won me £56. Then I worked out the odds of 4 numbers are over 2,000 to 1 so I gave up buying lottery tickets.

my brother was reported as dead on radio after he crashed his bike. (he wasn't dead but it was bloody close. three broken limbs, serious burns to his torso, broken ribs, broken shoulder, + more) my parents had people knocking on the door for weeks afterwards with their condolences
