I've basically sent out mails to every woman I find remotely attractive on the sites. As long as they live in the Aberdeen area. Fuck long distance relationships.
There's an option on one of the sites where you can basically 'carpet bomb' all the women in your area with an email. I'm so romantic. :) I sent out 200.
I'm gagging for a fuck. The last time I had a decent shag John Major was in power :(
I've already had one 'Thanks but no thanks' back but it ain't put me off.
I had to politely refuse one girl because she just wasn't attractive at all. And my standards are notoriously low. I'll shag anything.

Paul and I met through a dating site of sorts and we're doing allright. There are lots of reasons why people use DS's. Some guys and girls are just to shy or they don't know where to go to meet someone. You can just walk up to some girl or guy in the street and say hey, wanna go out? You'd probably just get laughed at, you dont know if theyre single or not etc etc.

Dating sites are easy ways to meet like minded people and get to know the before you meet them before wasting your time faffing about.

I know lots of good looking men and women who use dating sites who have nothing wrong with them, they do it because it's a lot better than trailing the streets pissed looking for some hunka hunka!

You'd be surprised. I do get approached easily but not for the right reasons. It's great if you have something to 'attract' them to you BUT for guys it's a bit harder if you're not the hottest stud on the block. First thing a girl does is go for the nicest looking bloke she thinks she has a chance with.

When you're out and about you can only see a person so you use that to jude what they are like before even talking to them. At least with a dating site you can talk to someone, find out what they like, what their dislikes are, who they are before you meet them. Looks are great and all but tbh, they aren't everything. I much prefer a guy who isn't the best looker but makes me laugh and is a sweetheart, I'm sure a lot of the girls here will agree with me but not all girls are like that. Im lucky pauls both a looker and nice guy.

I just find dating sites make it easier to get to find out more a person without basing everything on looks. You can change somethings bt the way you look is the way you look at the end of the day. To respond to the how do you meet people bit. I became single about 6 months ago and I have had success both meeting and meating girls from the following:

1 - Top of the list. Salsa classes. Without a shadow of a doubt I have had more totty from this than everything else put together. It's good for several reasons. Obviously you are dancing with girls. So you are close etc. (And you get to touch them a bit, which is a bonus).

You also swap partners about every 2 mins. So you get to chat to ALL the girls. When you see one you like, when you can prepare your next funny line so when she arrives to dance with you, you are prepared.

Also, girls like guys that can dance, so even if you can't now, you are going to a class - shows willing!

2 - And you will laugh at this, but yoga. It's full of girls. If you don't like the idea, then pick any 'girly' class. Could be at the gym or at Night School. Cookery for example.

3 - Evening Classes. Girls galore.

4 - Telling all my girl friends to bring single girls along when we go out. Daisy Rock (http://www.daisyrockuk.com) is great at trying to set me up!

And that's about it for what I do.

But its much harder to judge somone on the net. I am a very good judge of character, I only need to speak to someone for a few minutes to suss them out, face to face I mean. There's no better feeling than meeting someone for the first time and getting that instant attraction.
