Petrol costs

I am surprised that the truckers are not complaing.

Its just going up and up.

Not long I bet before its smuggled in from other countries.

I wonder if this is why such as tomtom's are polular. Even though they are about £300, I bet they save you petrol, as your not getting lost or going a long way to places.

Petrol HAS to be expensive
There HAS to be more congestion charges in more citys.

(paying for congestion charge is difficult deliberatly by the way)
Diesel has hit £1 PER LITRE in some places

They are now closing main roads at odd times and telling us there was an accident

More road tolls are round the corner.
Sat Nav and GPS will be compulsary soon

Speed cameras are for "safety" but 1000,s are banned every year for minor speeding offences and their livelyhoods are ruined

things seem to be getting out of control.... There not its all deliberate

they dont want us going out they want us at home watching TV and buying of the Internet....................why?

WHY?....who cares? its all good news for us.......LOL

we will find out soon

The dearer petrol gets the less oiks there are in the way with their nasty little cars so the £5 a litre cant come fast enough for me.

In fact I would make it £10 a litre right now for pensioners just to stop them littering up the middle lane of the M1 for mile after fucking mile.

Oh… And I would make it £25 a litre for those with the little orange stickers, which seems to allow them to park anywhere. Sometimes you can’t even see the front of the main post office! Whatever happened to those amusing little light blue three-wheeled “joey carts” with those noisy little strimmer engines they used to make them drive?

Yeah, Hitler had it right eh.

Hitler had to put petrol prices up as they were forced to use synthetic.

I wonder hoe much the goverment is getting in tax with increase in pertol costs?

supose it works out well.

Go to war with an oil rich country = increase cost in petrol = more cash from tax = pays for the war = war makes the goverment rich.

Lets hope there is a big price hike at the next budget to force some cars of the road. Its just plain mental that every house hold has two or more cars on the road. I want much higher prices and far less cars on the road.

Adding 5p or 10p doesnt work. There are more cars on the road than ever before, I suggest £2.00 per litre at least! :drink:

It does not stop people. People will pay the extra. Its known as elasic pricing. You can increase it as much as you want and people will pay.

The problem is that goods go up in cost too, so everything is more expensive.

But people cut back on things - thus people start to get laid off......

But for us, things are interesting, as we do not 100% rely on UK customers (unless your mad), so even if the uk economy sucks, as long as the usa is strong, you just aim for usa customers.

What will probably happen is that lots of old deasal cars will be bought and run on used oil (illigaly) to save cash.

thinking of getting a dirty diesel myself..
I remember back in 1997 i coudn't fit £20.00's worth of fuel in my car unless it was running on vapours.. wouldn't even get me half a tank now.. still it's cheaper at the supermarkets when they're running the 5p off a litre promo's
I know Sainsburys are running it at the moment.. :drink:

People don't realise just how much of the goods we buy are transported by road.. if the fuel prices went up so would everything else........

Especially as diesel is running higher than petrol. Plus now they have a (daft) ban on Chinese goods, prices will rise even more.

Petrol costs

I am surprised that the truckers are not complaing.

Why would the "truckers" be complaining about petrol prices?, they use diesel and they use "cherry", about 35p per litre.

I rekon that a lot of the smaller companies and individuals will be running on red soon, then we will have the DOT doing stop checks everywhere to try and catch em ... the whole sytem's going down the toilet.

Especially as diesel is running higher than petrol.

True, but with more MPG from a diesel, it'll still be cheaper then the petrol versions to run.

... wonder if I can attach some pedals to my car and get the kids to pedal me everywhere ??? (insert evil laugh here)

I agree, thats because petrol only goes up by 5p or 10p here and there. Now if you doubled it, people would start to think about using there cars.

As for making products more expensive, not if you introduced another couloured deisel. Say a green one for commercial vehicles.

Eventually people need to stop using their cars so much, so the roads can be a little less busy for me :)
