I had a check from Verotel thru the post, on saturday. I was gonna go down to the bank tomorrow to put it in, but realised they've address it to

Pay to the order of None / Jonathan Bradley

Where i'm assuming the none is the field for Business name in their account admin.

Do you think HSBC will take it?

Try it at the desk and if that fails, walk round to the paying in machine and do it there, works every time for me with stuff they grumble about at the desk. (Like those freaky weird dollar cheques)

Failing that, change your name to "None" by deed poll.

Read about a solicitor that was going to get charged for changing a name on an airline ticket amd wouldn't pay so he changed name sby deed poll and took the flight and when he got back changed the name by deed poll back to the original name and the whole process didn't cost as much as the airline charge.......:cheers2:

I would think so.

As long as your name is on it, it should be fine.
