Hey folks - I've posted this on *another* forum but I wanted a more UK based opinion on this, as I think it's quite serious.

"Well, I knew this would pop up again - some of you might remember all the shit I had involving the owners of www.cam-cuties.co.uk - basically, I *think* that the owner hacked my MSN account and tried to contact all the models I have on there. They certainly tried to poach Faith using her private MSN address, which they almost certainly got off my contacts list.

The old thread where we talked about all this is here:
(mod - am I allowed to link to a thread on another forum, for information purposes only?)

Anyway, I have just spoken to a girl who is featured on the site, and get this, she is only 16. She doesn't appear nude, but I assume I would be right in thinking that it's highly illegal to have under 18s on a site that has adult content. They do have a 2257 statement of sorts on the "About" page, but this is clearly not a true statement.

So what do you guys think is the best course of action here?"

Is it illegal? In which country?

It may be in the USA, but if she is clothed and not participating in any form of sex, then I suspect under UK law this is legal.

Is it moral, then the answer is no.

If your concerned, may I suggest you contact the police with all the info.

If he is committing an illegal act, its probably wiser not to post it publicly, and allow the police to investigate.

Do you know this girl personally? if not how do you know she is 16?

I approached her for some work on a profile site - her profile gives her age as 18, but when I asked her she said she was 16.

So you don't actually know how old she is, if it's even her in the pics.

As for her being on a site that has adult content, what about The Sport, they have adult content but don't they also have non adult stories?
maybe even stories of a skateboarding 15 year old who broke his/her leg cos he/she was looking a the The Sport wjile boarding.

I ain't got a clue cos I haven't looked at The Sport since it stopped being just The Sunday Sport, but you know what I mean :)

Her parents will have needed to sign a model release regardless of the content due to her age. No one under 18 can sign a contract, it needs to be signed by a parent.

Personally unless the chaps doing child porn, I would not get involved.

Well, she told me she has pics on that site, and they match the ones in her profile. Could all be bullshit I suppose. But I don't see any reason she would lie about it really. She seems quite genuine, and I have pretty good bullshit detectors.

Last time I checked (and I try not to), the Sport doesn't have 16 yr olds posing in lingerie next to topless models.

Yeah I think you are correct there. I'm just debating what to do - as far as I know the organiser was responsble for me being hacked & having a load of my accounts fucked around with for about a week. It wasn't a good time for me. If he is breaking any laws, I think it's my duty to report him.

I got caught bigtime when I helped set up sunnydollars - I spent far too long worrying about what they did, and less about my business - I am in the kind of business where I can make a lot of cash, and, to some people I have done exactly that. But I know I have under-achieved because I have spent more time thinking shit rather than positively working.
The past 2 years I put that stuff behind me and moved on - Even tho' I try to warn people about who is behind sd, I care not about what they did to me.
Some things are best that way.
Maybe, Dave, better to let this crew get on and you also move on - If they are what you think they are, one day they will get bitten back -

Also the 2257 statement is USA law. If its a UK site and hosted in the UK, the 2257 statement is irrelevant regardless.

Well you didn't say she was next to other models you just said on the same site, or do you just mean the pics are next to each other?

It seems like you have a grudge against the owner of this site and you are just looking for any shit. So she told you she is 16, she told other people she is 18, why would she be telling you truth?
Maybe she thought you would be happier if she is 16.

The only one who should be concerned is the girl. Is she bothered about being on the site? Did she sign a model release under the age of 18, and if so did a parent also sign it?

I personally think this is not a police mater.

Also if this chap is skilled enough to hack your account, do you really want to make enemies of him?

Under 18's are a definate NO NO whatever the context, which is why DVT had so many problems after shooting two 15 year olds nude !!

His forum was hacked and the images posted and despite his waffle he has never GONE to the police and told them about his business they CAME to him !!!

Ooohh also DVT can you please stop submitting fake models to www.be-seen-here.co.uk (http://www.be-seen-here.co.uk)????

I have never shot any models under 18. If you belive I have, please contact the police.

I have never submited any models to your site.

Right, I'm not gonna discuss any other aspects of this apart from the legality of the aforementioned site. Whether I decide to do anything about it or not, I would like a definitive answer on whether it's legal or not. If it's legal in the UK, why don't porn mags have cute 16 yr olds in them alongside the minge shots? Because it's socially frowned on or immoral? I really doubt the proprietors of the major top-shelf publications give a flying fuck about morality really, so if it's legal, why isn't there more of it about?

If she is 16 or indeed under 18, and her parents did not sign a model release then he cannot use the shots anyway.

If she is in a pic with a nude girl, it could be seen as a sex act (of sorts) and yes this would not be legit.

Answer:

I never have.

Look, if I had done something illegal, I would have a criminal record. I am happy for anyone to check me out. All I have is 3 points for running a red light about 6 years ago.

If I have a criminal record, then how could I have trained to be a nurse 2 years ago? They do a full police check. And those who have met me have seen my student nurse ID.

Also even if I had shot a 15 year old model, how would anyone know? Unless they new them.

If you think I have photographed under aged models, please tell me which model? All the pics I have ever taken are on my sites, I have never removed any.

Looks its bullshit. I have set up loads of free messageboards, often never looking at them again. I did not know any had been hacked, nor do I care.

I have two folders full of model releases and model id's.

The police have never come to me over any of the work I do.
