Metallica are playing at wembley for anyone else here who's partial to their tunes...

Saw Metallica on the tail-end of their Justice tour in Glasgow in 1990. Fucking brilliant gig. 3 hours they played for. My hearing was never the same again.
i saw mettallica at wembley years ago, i think it was when they were promoting whatever album enter sandman was on(?)
i also saw them at milton keynes bowl as well, must hve been well over ten years ago now

Some Kind of Monster - the Metallica rockumentary - is, if you've not seen it, fantastic. Dave Mustaine and Lars Ullrich have a teary session with a therapist talking about how hurt Dave was when they booted him out, Lars shows us round his art collection, etc. And these are the guys who brought us "Creeping Death."

That movie made them look like a bunch of premadonna fannies. Kirk was the only one who seemed even remotely sensible.
